She was predeceased by: her parents, Waller Griffing and Esther Griffing. She is survived by: her husband Tommy Thomason; her children, David Young and Michelle Sherman; her stepchildren, Scott Thomason, Amy Mosley and Kim Crice; and her siblings, Dorothy Sparks, Russel Griffing, Mary Moss and Cathy Buttke. She is also survived by seven grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and several nieces and nephews.
