With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Shirley Doratha Smith of Calvert City, Kentucky, who passed away on November 26, 2021 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Woodrow Wilson Barrett and Naomi Barrett (Kennedy); and her husband Charles "Pete" Smith. She is survived by: her children, Bobby R. Smith (Fran) of Calvert City, Christopher C. Smith (Kirby) of Austin, Texas and Shelia Ann Rushing (Stan) of Dallas, Texas; her grandchildren, Jessica Smith, Chase Rushing, Derek Smith, Shantell Jenkins (Eric), Jacob Smith and Grant Smith; her great grandchildren, Dallas Davis, Kruz Powell, Jayden Jenkins, Jaxon Jenkins and Luca Smith; and her siblings, Gerald Dean Barrett, Lonnie Wayne Barrett, Jerry Don Barrett, Charlene Smith, Glynda Parker and Sandra Faith.
