It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Allene Whitehead Underwood Smith of Campbellsville, Kentucky, born in Raywick, Kentucky, who passed away on October 31, 2021, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Cornelius "Neal" Whitehead and Elizabeth Ermine "Lizzie" Wright Whitehead; her former spouse Brown Underwood; her husband Roger Smith; and her sons, Bill Underwood, Lonnie Underwood and Tim Underwood.
She is survived by: her grandchildren, Brian Underwood (Brandie), Brittany Underwood (Collin Elzy) of Louisville, Rob Richardson of Louisville, Matthew Underwood (Jeanette) of Lagrange, Robert Underwood, Ashley Dooley (Damon) of Campbellsville and Natalie DeStefano of Florida; and her sister Mildred Ann Moore (Junior) of Campbellsville. She is also survived by fourteen great-grandchildren.
