It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Arlon Stanley Simpson of Campbellsville, Kentucky, who passed away on April 3, 2022, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, James Ogden Simpson and Margaret Wooldridge Simpson; his son James Willie Simpson (Jeff Wright); his grandsons, Benjamin Christie Matney and Jay Wright; and his brother Dennis Simpson.
He is survived by: his wife Lucretia Mae Miller Simpson of Campbellsville; his children, Deborah (Michael Matney), Paulette (Jimmy Lobb), Mike (Marie Wright), Vickie Harrison of Elizabethtown, Mary Ann (Robbie Wise), Mark (Kara Wright) and Gail (Ricky Underwood); his daughter-in-law Tina Wright of Lebanon; his sister-in-law Boyce (Judy Simpson); his sisters, Joyce (Leroy Patterson) of Greensburg and Bernice Janes of Greensburg; and his siblings-in-law, David of Pennsylvania, Jackie Miller of Pennsylvania, Donna Miller of Pennsylvania, Lloyd of Pennsylvania, MaryAnne Miller of Pennsylvania, Bob of Pennsylvania, Barb Miller of Pennsylvania, Rose Anne of Pennsylvania, Larry Albright of Pennsylvania, Linda of Pennsylvania, Ben McCaulley of Pennsylvania and Arthur Miller of Virginia. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; 5 great-great grandchildren; a brother.
The family has asked that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to the Gideon Bible Fund, which can be made at the funeral home.
