He was predeceased by: his parents, Ada Farmer and Florence McDaniel Farmer; his brother Burl; and his sister-in-law Betty Farmer. He is survived by: his wife Wanda Farmer of Franklin; his children, Steve Farmer (Kelly Farmer) of Evans and Becky Phillips (Richard Phillips) of Franklin, Tennessee; his grandchildren, Rachel Catherine Smith (Sullivan Smith), Hannah Noelle-Hysen (Logan Hysen) and Matthew Stephen Farmer (Laura Farmer); his great grandchildren, Riley Farmer, Scottie Farmer and Caleb Farmer; and his nephew Shane Farmer (Theresa).
