He was predeceased by: his wife Iris Formhals Hoagland; his brothers, Jimmy, Billy, Carlos and Johnny Hoagland; and his grandson Roy Jeffries.
He is survived by: his children, Perry Hoagland (Lindy) of Wickerville, Mary Beth Hoagland of Danville and Margaret Brown (Charles) of Buffalo; his sister Patty Bratcher; his granddaughters, Tonya Stapp (Jordan) of Campbellsville and DeAnna Murrell (Speedy) of Upton; his great grandchildren, Courtney Jeffries of Sonora, Jarrod Murrell of Eastview, Wayne Murrell of Bonnieville, Bonnie Johnson of Elizabethtown, Anthony Johnson (JR) of Upton, Ava of Campbellsville and Lilly Stapp of Campbellsville; his great great grandchildren, Enzo Sumers of Elizabethtown, Jonathan of Sonora, Chloe of Sonora and Carter Jeffries of Sonora; and his sister-in-law Norma Hoagland of Lebanon Junction. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
