With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gary Keith Hughes (Campbellsville, Kentucky), who passed away on January 17, 2022 at the age of 70. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Hughes and Connie Victoria Elliot; and his sisters, Margret Hughes, Jewell Hughes, Shirley Hughes and Barbara Henderson.
He is survived by: his spouse Shirley Bault Hughes; his daughter Connie Newton (Michael) of Campbellsville; his grandchildren, Faith Newton, Baylee Newton and Robert Newton of Campbellsville; and his siblings, Wayne Hughes (Gladys) of Casey County, Larry Hughes (Linda) of Knifley, Roger Hughes (Donna) of Campbellsville, Mildred Druin of Campbellsville, Doris Reynolds of Campbellsville and Orville Hughes.
In lieu of flowers, the family has asked for expressions of sympathy be taken in form of donations toward St. Jude Hospital Cancer Center for Kids and can be made at the funeral home.
