He was predeceased by: his parents, Dutch Barnett and Ollie Hardin Barnett; and his brothers, Raymond "Shorty" Barnett and Gilbert Barnett. He is survived by: his niece Debbie Claywell of Campbellsville; his great-nephews, Shannon Claywell of Munfordville, Brandon Claywell of Campbellsville and Shawn Claywell of Campbellsville; and also, Braysen Claywell and Briggs Claywell.
