He was predeceased by: his parents, James Arvin Beams and Mary Gladys Beams (Underwood); his former wife Brenda Brown; his wife Peggy Jean Warren; and his brother Vernon Beams.
He is survived by: his daughters, Marcia Underwood (Mickey) of Campbellsville, Cheryl Mings (Kevin) of Campbellsville and Rita Thompson (Chris) of Elizabethtown; his grandchildren, Jaycee Mings of Campbellsville, Sydney Mings of Campbellsville, Ethan Mings of Campbellsville and Chayse Thompson of Elizabethtown; his nephew Jason Beams of Campbellsville; his stepson Troy; his daughter-in-law Patty Skaggs of Allendale; his stepgrandchildren, Noah Scott, Anna Nicholas of Campbellsville, Mason Skaggs and Kenzie Skaggs of Allendale; his stepgreat-grandchildren, Livi Nicholas, Drew Nicholas of Campbellsville and Reed Scott of Greensburg; and also B. J. Perkins.
In lieu of flowers, the family request donations to Hosparus of Green River or Gideon Bibles and can be made at the funeral home.
