He was predeceased by: his parents, John Richard "J. R." and Corine Gay Kirtley (Clark); his son Charles David "Cookie" Kirtley; and his brother David Allen Kirtley. He is survived by: his wife Mary Lynn Kirtley (Rucker); his daughter Kathy Arnold (Larry) of Campbellsville; his sisters, Vickie Brockman of Lebanon, Charlotte Clark (Danny) of Campbellsville, Sherry Cambron of Campbellsville and Donna Kirtley of Campbellsville; and his grandchildren, Katelyn Arnold (Ben Siems) of Pocatello, ID, Dylan Arnold of Washington, D. C. and Sharon Kirtley of Casey County.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Lr Petty Funeral Home and Cremation Service (1765 New Columbia Rd, Campbellsville, KY 42718). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Chapel of the L. R. Petty Funeral Home (1765 New Columbia Rd, Campbellsville, KY 42718).
