She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Sheppard Phillips and Eliza Jane Woodrum Phillips; her spouse Dr. L. Rodford McDonald; and her siblings, Wesley Phillips, Wallace Phillips, Sam E. Phillips, Myrtle Wise, Alta Stephens and Grace Wise.

She is survived by: her nieces and nephews, Nancy Phillips Reathaford, Marilyn Phillips Saline, Ronnie Phillips (Jane) of Galesburg, Virginia Sue Stephens Bannon of Crawfordsville, Allen Stephens (Anne) of Carmel, Melissa Phillips Cooper (Eric) of Brownsburg, Linda Wise Cunningham (Doug) of Lexington and Cindy Wise McIntire (Terry) of Houston; her great-niece Stacey Sapp Arnett (Jerry); and her great-nephew Dwight Sapp (Kim) of Campbellsville. She is also survived by several other great-nieces and great-nephews and many other relatives and friends.
