He is survived by: his wife Margaret Kirkland Christie; his children, Norman D. Christie, Jr. (Mark Stemple), Debra Ann Waldron (Gary), Elizabeth Isabelle Christie and Thomas Kirkland Christie; his grandchildren, Ann Morgan MacDonald, Chris Tarter, Kirk Christie, John Christie, Matthew Christie, Amelia Christie, Jeff Waldron and Eric Waldron; and his great grandchildren, Miles Tarter, Ian Tarter, Luke Tarter, Annsley Tarter, Edwin MacDonald, Maggie MacDonald and James MacDonald.
