We are sad to announce that on November 29, 2021, at the age of 90, Opal Roots of Campbellsville, Kentucky passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Leslie Baumgardner and Ollie Mae Bean Baumgardner; her husband James Earl Roots; and her siblings, Willie Matt Baumgardner, Leonard Baumgardner, Clarence "Pete" Baumgardner, Herman Baumgardner, David Baumgardner, Louis Baumgardner and Flossie Bohanon.
She is survived by: her daughter Kathy Roots Milby of Campbellsville; her grandchildren, James Morgan Milby of Cincinnati and Ariel Milby Young (Grant) of Louisville; her great grandchildren, Julian Atlas Milby, Mya Ellen Young and Zelia Jane Young; and her sister Mildred Rodgers of Campbellsville. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
