He is survived by: his wife Viola Benaitis (Willis) of Campbellsville; his children, Raymond Benaitis, Jr. (Shannon) of Illinois, Sean Benaitis (Dannette) of Illinois, Anita Daniels of Illinois and David Gall of Illinois; his sisters, Alvina Giedraitis of Illinois, Helen Ann Kupetis of Illinois and Katherine Johnson (David) of Indiana; and his sister-in-law Norene Feese (Mike Best). He is also survived by 13 grandchildren, a host of great-grandchildren.
