He was predeceased by: his parents, Levi Harvey Rood and Lois Dean Moore Rood; and his grandson Bentley Scott Rood. He is survived by: his wife Kathy Rood of Campbellsville; his children, Brandon Rood (Natalie) of Campbellsville and Kristy Rood of Elizabethtown; his grandchildren, McKenna Rood, Braxton Rood, Brody Rood of Campbellsville and Alexis Rood of Elizabethtown; and his siblings, Mike Rood (Penny) of Georgia and Patti Herron (Jeff) of North Carolina. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
