We are sad to announce that on June 10, 2025, at the age of 96, Samuel Ray Benningfield of Campbellsville, Kentucky passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Marvin Benningfield and Ethel Puryear Benningfield; his wife Mildred Gaddis; his son Stanley Eugene Benningfield; his brothers, James "Bud" Benningfield, Walter Benningfield and Willis Benningfield; and his half-brothers, Victor Benningfield and Clarence Benningfield.
He is survived by: his daughter Joan; his son-in-law Donald Walls of Campbellsville; his grandchildren, Chase Walls (Tasha), Tammy Benningfield Cox, Gerald Benningfield (Kerrie) of Campbellsville and Chance Walls (Ashton) of Hanson, Kentucky; and his great grandchildren, Cole Gribbins, Austin Benningfield, Caleb Benningfield, Kinley Grace Walls and Urban Samuel Walls. He is also survived by four great-great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 13th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home (418 Lebanon Ave, Campbellsville, KY 42718). A masonic service will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location.
