He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Larry Thomas Mardis of Campbellsville and Carolyn Ann Shofner Mardis of Campbellsville; his siblings, James Mardis (Brandy) of Campbellsville, Jeff Mardis of Campbellsville and Shanon O'Banion (Jonathan) of Campbellsville; his uncles, Terry Mardis (Debbie) of Campbellsville and Gary Walters (Denise) of Campbellsville; his aunt Judy Donley Henderson of Sherman, IL.; his nephews, Landon O'Banion, Layton O'Banion and Willie Key; and his niece Jamie Lynn Mardis.
In lieu of flowers, the family has asked for expressions of sympathy be taken in the form of Gideon Bibles and can be made at the funeral home.
