It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Tommy Shirrell of Campbellsville, Kentucky, who passed away on October 1, 2021, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, William "Billcat" and Lenora Shirrell (Wright); his wife Lillie Mae Shirrell (Corbin); and his siblings, Johnny Shirrell, Jerry Shirrell, Eugene Shirrell, Kathleen Bishop, Judy Dicken and Sue Powell.
He is survived by: his daughter Melinda Thompson (Lewis) of Campbellsville; his stepchildren, Anita Wilkerson (Daryl) of Horse Cave, Lynn Benningfield (Teresa) of Campbellsville and Gary Benningfield (Glenda) of Louisville; and his sister Beverly Smith of Nashville, Two. He is also survived by Two grandchildren, Five step grandchildren, Four great-grandchildren, Eleven step great-grandchildren.
