He is survived by: his wife Carrie Dimple Thornton; his children, Dwayne Thornton of Greensburg, Dale Thornton of Campbellsville, Chris Thornton of Campbellsville, Angela Alexander of Phenix City and Karen Brown (Joseph) of McKinney, Texas.; his grandchildren, LaTasha Blizzard (Nathan) of Camp Zama, Japan, Cynthia Thornton of Antioch, Tommy Jermaine Thornton of Radcliff, Dwayne Thornton Jr. of Campbellsville, Shatia "Tia" Thornton of Campbellsville, Jeremy Hatcher of Campbellsville, Shanice Bridgewater of Campbellsville, Dayle Dondra Thornton of Campbellsville, Austyn Thornton of Campbellsville, Dalvian Thornton of Campbellsville, Erika Thornton of Phenix City, Alabama, Breonah Brown and Kaleb Brown Both of McKinney Texas; and his sisters, LouAnn Menefee (Nathaniel) of Fayetteville, NC and Carolyn Thornton Shively (Bert) of Greensburg. He is also survived by 13 Great Grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild, Several nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
