She was predeceased by: her grandmother Nita; her husbands, George Wayne Jr. and Cal Zehnder; her parents, Emery Johnson and Josie Bell Johnson; her stepmother Sara Johnson; her siblings, Jesse Weatherford, W. Lee Pickle and Elaine Johnson; and her granddaughter Ashley Marie Wayne.
She is survived by: her sons, David (Amy), John Gregory (Donna) and Scott (Kim); and her grandchildren, Spencer (Lisa), Wesley (Meredith), Katherine (Maurice), Laura (Dylan), Andrew (Linnzi) and Jessie (Travis). She is also survived by ten great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 14th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Fern Creek Funeral Home (5406 Bardstown Rd, Louisville, KY 40291). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 15th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
