She was predeceased by : her husband Stanley Deaton; her parents, Paul Durda and Sally Hollis Durda; and her sisters, Helena Durda and Gloria Durda.

She is survived by : her daughter Tonya Seale of Attalla, Alabama; her brother Joe Krotsmer of Illinois; and her close friend Randall Bates of Campton, Kentucky.. She is also survived by four nieces; three nephews.
