He was predeceased by: his parents, Elvie Payton and Mable Isabelle Payton; and his sister Gladys Payton Jones. He is survived by: his wife Martha Payton of Caneyville; his children, Warren Daniel Payton (LaRanda) of Caneyville, Karen Payton (Morris Crawford) of Caneyville, Marcia Hawkins (Robert) of Scottsville and Marty Hawkins (Christopher) of Caneyville; and his sisters, Carol Sue Beld and Ruby Vickery. He is also survived by fourteen grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.
