He was predeceased by: his parents, James T. Helm and Hattie B. Walters Helm; his wife Loetta Helm; and his siblings, Fannie E. Foster, Cora Catherine Ward, Nannie Frances Helm, James S. Helm and Bennie Helm.
He is survived by: his daughter Darlyne Martin (Gary) of Milton, KY. He is also survived by four grandchildren, five great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.
