She was predeceased by: her siblings, Charles Rakes (Janice), Bus Rakes (Mary Ann), Johnny Rakes, Duck Rakes, Carl Rakes, Betty Rakes, Juanita Rigsby (Leon) and Jean Teer (Phil); and her niece Brenda Hall.
She is survived by: her siblings, Paul Rakes (Fay) of Catlettsburg, KY, Robert "Bob" Rakes of Catlettsburg, KY, Phyllis Meeks (Wornie) of Harts, WV and Martha Snehotta (Dieter) of Elyria, OH; her sisters-in-law, JoAnn Rakes of Catlettsburg, KY, Judy Rakes of Rush, KY and Sue Rakes of Catlettsburg, KY; her siblings' children, Christina Hicks, Anita Watts and Paul Eddie Rakes; and her close friend Shelbie. She is also survived by many other nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.
