He was predeceased by: his mother Teresa Sue Day Sr. (Hewitt); and his grandparents, Larry, Iola Hewitt, Amos Lee and Myrtle Day.
He is survived by: his father Dallas Lee Day Sr. of Carlinville; his fiancé Kaylee Huett; his children, Paizlee, Kayson and Derek Lee Jr.; his brothers, Darin Day of Jerseyville and Dallas; his sister-in-law Katisha Day of Auburn; and his sister Jamie Day of Branson. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
