The passing of Lois Elmore Wells of Cave City, Kentucky, born in Brownsville, Kentucky leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on December 27, 2023 at the age of 83. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Robert Elmore and Vonnie Elmore (Woodcock); her husband James Abraham Wells, Jr.; her siblings, Evelyn Carnes and Franklin Elmore; and her nephews, Anthony Elmore, Kevin Elmore and Chris Hayse.

She is survived by : her daughters, Lyvon Hayes (Gary Britt) of Cave City and Joyce Ann Wells (Clifton Parsley) of Cave City; her sister Ethel Elmore of Sweeden Kentucky; her grandsons, Bobby D. Hayes (Casey) of Glasgow, Larry D. Minor (Marcie) of Bowling Green, Tyler Tapscott (Elaina) of Ohio and Joshua Tapscott of Ohio; and her great grandchildren, Cason Hayes, Jonathan, Kaili Minor, Chloe, Hayden, Mia and Steven Thomas.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital in memory of Mrs. Lois Wells.
