With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ovel Goodman of Cecilia, Kentucky, born in Hardin, Kentucky, who passed away on October 22, 2020 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by : his parents, James Goodman and Sophie Lou Goodman (Helms); and his siblings, Roy, Jimmy, Johnny Goodman, Bertha Folden, Ruby Mears and Pauline Turner.
He is survived by : his wife Mary Helson Goodman of Cecilia; his children, James William Goodman (Marilyn) of Cecilia, Jeanetta Sue Cecil (Chris) of Cecilia and Paula Johnson; his sister Louise Hay of Elizabethtown; his grandchildren, Joseph, Christopher and Kristen; and his great grandchild Briar "Rosebud" Edlin.
Due to COVID-19, the family asks that every visitor wear a mask or face cover.
