He was predeceased by : his parents, Judd Nunn and Mary Agalene Williams Nunn; his son James Ray Nunn; and his siblings, Mary Bell Burden, Judd Elbert Nunn and Charles Dean Nunn.

He is survived by : his son Johnathan Lee Nunn (Tiffany); his grandson Jameson Lee Nunn of Leitchfield; his siblings, Orval Nunn of Munfordville, Cloye Nunn (Patsy) of Clarkson and Minnie Nunn Hills (Marvin) of Bowling Green; his nephew Josh Sandlin; and his close friend Eugene Logsdon.
