He was predeceased by: his parents, Corona South and Georgia Hamilton South. He is survived by: his wife Sharon South; and his children, James L. South Jr., Isabell S. South and Sheila Roberts (Bradley). He is also survived by 9 grandchildren; and 7 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 20th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Wells Funeral Home (777 W College Ave, Stanton, KY 40380). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 20th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
