She was predeceased by: her parents, Calvin Smiddy and Grace Miller Smiddy; her siblings, Lawrence, Floyd, Alford, Clarence Smiddy, Vernon Ruggles and Carrie Belle Morris; and her daughter Melody Lynne McSmith.
She is survived by: her sons, Joseph "Jay" Dennick (Melody) of Poland and Robert Dennick of Versailles, Missouri; her grandson Kash Dennick of Poland; and her brothers, Glen Smiddy of Kansas City and Archie Charles Ruggles of Amarillo, TX..
