He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Saylor and Verna Hopkins Saylor; his significant other Ann Marler; and his siblings, Fred, Bob, Pete, Billy Joe, Albert, Charley, Larry Saylor and Goldie Mae Pittman.

He is survived by: his daughter Angie Marler; his grandsons, Mikey and Dewayne Marler; and his siblings, Bo Saylor, Glenn Saylor and Doris Jean Owens (Richard).
