She was predeceased by: her parents, John Lawson and Lily Monhollen Lawson of Siler, KY.; her husband Robert Powers; and her siblings, Lucille Lawson, Margaret Lawson, Sylvia McDaries (Horace), L. D. Lawson (Pauline) and E. C. Lawson (Irene).
She is survived by: her sons, Lonnie Powers (Gloria) of Independence, KY, Bobby Powers (Tannie) of Newport, KY and Willard Powers (Cindy) of Corbin, KY.; her siblings, Audrey Ballew, Eula V Hembree (Don), Ethel McDaries (H. C.) and Johnny Lawson (Peggy) of Corbin, KY; and her siblings' children, Donna Goff, Geraldine Hamblin, Mark C. Lawson, Darryl Lawson and Ronnie Rose. She is also survived by seven grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren.
