She was predeceased by: her parents, David Malone and Betty Malone; her sister Linda Naerhing; and her sibling's child J. B. Burton. She is survived by: her husband Daniel Pennington of Corbin; her daughters, Julie Ann Burton of Hamilton and Jennifer Lynn Smith (Bobby) of Trenton; and her siblings, Betty Pasley (Don) of Cincinnati, Davetta Huffman (William) of Crescent Springs, Virgil Malone of Independence and Monte Malone (Janet) of Cincinnati. She is also survived by eight grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
