He was predeceased by: his parents, Johnny Morgan and Sarah Morgan; his siblings, Virginia Lee Whitehead, Fred Morgan and Cornelius Morgan; and his son-in-law Joe Salyers.
He is survived by: his wife Fern Morgan; his children, Michael Morgan, Marilyn Salyers, Mitchell Morgan (Louetta), James David Morgan (DeDee), Johnnie Robin Morgan (Angela), Crystal Dawn Hill (Michael) and Austin Anthony Morgan; his grandchildren, Vanessa, Brooke, Joey Ross, Jacob David, John Michael, Jason, Jeremy, Takota, Madison, Johnna, Josh, Gage, Sean and Christian; his sisters, Phronia Hanselman (Tom), Ruby Gail Crews (David), Laverne Amos and Juanita North (Wilburn); and his uncle Bill Bowling. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, other relatives, and numerous friends.
