He was predeceased by: his parents, Elzie Wilson and Norma Jean Patton Wilson. He is survived by: his wife Crystal Nickell Wilson of Corbin; his children, Holly Gail Wilson and Karissa Ann Wilson; his stepchildren, Eric Wayne Spencer of Corbin and Courtney Rachelle Nickell of Corbin; and his sister Lois Jean Mack of Florida.
