He is survived by: his wife Linda Yates; his sons, Glenn Martin Yates (Doris) of Rockwall, Kenneth Wayne Yates (Pamela) of Columbia and Jeffrey Dale Yates (Jennifer) of Corbin, Kentucky; his stepson Matt Vandivier (Melissa) of Corbin, Kentucky; his grandchildren, Andrew Yates (Kelli) of Apex, Peter Yates of Maui, Sara Yates of Houston, Matthew Yates of Rockwall, Emily Connor (Matthew) of Indianapolis, Amy Yates of Columbia, Elisabeth Yates of Columbia, Kathryn Wright (James Dewey) of Columbia, Jessyca Lundy (James Lucas) of Corbin and Jeffrey Trystan Yates of Corbin, Kentucky; his great grandchildren, Hannah Yates, John Martin Yates, Yates Connor, Kelly Connor and Jocelyn Mae Lundy; and his siblings, Clyde Yates of Corbin, Dusty Yates (Ruth) of Daytona Beach, Florida and Opal Russell of Corbin, Kentucky. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
