She was predeceased by: her parents, Coy Mitchell and Edna Brock Mitchell; and her sisters, Janice Vazzana, Willa Mae Jones and Lorette Mitchell.
She is survived by: her children, Joe Mitchell (Carol), Floyd Mitchell and Rebecca Mitchell; and her siblings, Arnold Mitchell, Clearance Mitchell, Dorothy Pyles and Fredia Burkhart. She is also survived by seven grandchildren; nine great grandchildren.
