He is survived by: his sons, Jerry Partin of Plainfield and Rodney Partin of Danville, Indiana; his sisters, Diane Thomas (Gary Lamey) of Indianapolis and Angela Michelle Dorris (Jeff) of Indianapolis, Indiana; his half-siblings, Phyllis Knuckles of Frakes and Allan Partin of Frakes, Kentucky; his aunts, Helen Bennett of Siler, Ruby Caffee of Louisville and Carol McFadden (Arnold) of Lily, Kentucky; his uncle Martin Henderson (Rita) of Louisville, Kentucky; and his cousin Eugene (Mary Bennett).
