She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Swafford and Fannie Hensley (Merida); her husband Jay Bays; her son Willie Woodrow Bays; her granddaughter Jessica Bays; and her siblings, Gilbert Hensley, Gracie Searcy and Laurie Eversole.
She is survived by: her sons, Marvin Bays (Geraldine) of Bimble and Randall Bays of Barbourville; her siblings, Rev. Columbus Hensley of Corbin and Altie Allen of Cincinnati; her grandchildren, Mark Bays, Travis Bays, Tracy Hensley, Jacob Bays, Brittany Bays and Marlena Bays; and her great grandchildren, Maddox Bays, Ryan Bays, Skyler Hill, Holly Hill, Conner Bays, Travor Bays, Xavier Bays, Mason Bays, Madelline Hensley, Hailey Bays, Lily Carnes, Cameron Jackson, Chloe Bays, Jacob Bays and Brayden Bays.
