He is survived by: his wife Betty Cox Johnston of Corbin; his children, Billie Jean Roberts (Scott) of Columbia and Phillip Todd Johnston of Lexington; his siblings, Sherry Maxwell of London, Joyce Schaub of Columbus, Janice Miller of Middlesboro, Jawanna Jackson of Middlesboro, Bob Johnston of Columbus, Jean Porter of Erlanger, Mack of Tazewell, Bill Johnston of Tazewell and Wayne Johnston of Browning Creek; and his grandchildren, Joshua Roberts, Amber Roberts, Caleb Johnston, Jeremy Roberts, Garrett Johnston and Aaron Joe Johnston.
