With heavy hearts, we announce the death of George Wayne Philpot (Corbin, Kentucky), who passed away on February 17, 2020 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Daw Philpot and Lula Halcomb Philpot; and his siblings, Dewey Philpot, Ray Philpot, Ralph Philpot, Michael Philpot, John, Millie Philpot Davis and Edna Philpot Harris.

He is survived by: his daughter Elizabeth Ann Howard; his grandchildren, Matthew Duane Roop and Brooke Ashley Geeting (Jonathan Scott Geeting); and his great grandchildren, Ramona June Geeting and Francis Reeve Geeting. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
