He was predeceased by: his parents, Cleave Reeves and Dora Helton Reeves; his siblings, Margie Jones, Rella Reeves, Dorothy Kender, Jenny Davis, Edward Reeves and Conard Reeves; and his son James David Reeves.
He is survived by: his wife Nancy Wright Reeves; his children, Sandra Reeves (Mike Watkins), Danny Reeves (Cindy) and Michael Reeves (Tammy); his stepson Steven Terry (Lisa); his brother Robert Reeves (Myretta); and his grandsons, Seth Reeves (Sarah), Jacob Reeves (Jessica), Adam Reeves (Sarah) and Joseph Reeves (Meredith). He is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.
O'Neil-Lawson Funeral Home will be following the guidelines the Governor's Office has set for COVID-19, for attendance (of 50% building capacity), Social Distancing, and proper Face Coverings to be worn at these services.
