James F. Barton Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James F. Barton (Corbin, Kentucky), who passed away on January 31, 2021 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Barton and Artie Barton; his wife Ruby Barton; his granddaughter Crystal Gabbard Hester; and his brother Rex Barton.
He is survived by: his children, Barbara Gabbard (Ira Jake), Alice Faye Sproles, Marilyn Ledford (Terry), Debbie Michael (Brett), James Roy Barton (Darlena) and Bill Barton (Lisa). He is also survived by 10 grandchildren; and several great grandchildren.
Because of the COVID-19 pandemic, a private graveside service will be held at Carter Cemetery with Rick Gibson officiating.
