He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Johns and Della Johns; his siblings, Andy Johns, George Johns, Sue Paul and Lilly Perry; and his daughter Marie Osborne.

He is survived by: his wife Ellen Johns; and his children, Johnny Johns (Marie) of Ringgo, Georgia, Anna Pauline Johns of Corbin and Danny Ray Osborne of Williamsburg. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
