He was predeceased by: his parents, Sim Jones and Mary Collins Jones; his wife Jean Jones; his son David Jones; and his siblings, Cora Hibbard, Nora Jones, Ed Jones, Monroe Jones, Bobby Jones, Tommy Jones and Verlie Sandusky.
He is survived by: his children, Doug Jones (Kim), Ernie Jones, Eric Jones and Karen Jones Melton; and his grandchildren, Chris Jones, Tyler Jones, Shane York, Kendra Smith, Jeremy Melton, Jared Jones and Amber Jones. He is also survived by several great grandchildren, cousins, and friends.
