He is survived by: his grandson Luke; his wife Tonnie Yaden Carroll; his daughter Lesli Gilliam; his son-in-law Eric Gilliam; his siblings, Doug Carroll, Clifford Carroll, Dorothy Perkins, Ann Carroll Freeman and Nyoka Carroll Hall; and his grandchildren, Johnny (Luke Gilliam), Paislee Cummins and Cade Cummins.
