He was predeceased by: his mother Marie Bowling; and his wife Henrietta Simpson (Honeycutt). He is survived by: his children, Rebecca Regnart (Randall) of Corbin, Tabatha Richardson of Williamsburg and Les Simpson Leann; his grandchildren, Kristen, Kyle, Kathy, Colton, Brandon, Dalton, Autumn, Graceland, Derrick Jr., Christian, Jaxx and Jace; and his great grandchildren, Candace, Brandon, Kayden, Terry, Avery, Abel, Keely, Cameron, Brylee and Addy.
