She was predeceased by: her former husbands, Roscoe Monroe and R. C. Smith; and her sister Mary Hemphill. She is survived by: her children, Marlene Lawson (Lester) of Rockholds and Leslie Monroe (Vickie) of Barbourville; and her sibling Roy Powell (Freida) of Barbourville.
