He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur "Jake" and Ida Hash Alsip; his daughter Vicky Lynn Alsip; and his siblings, Orita "Trix" Brewer, Irene Marshall, Alma Tatman, Georgia Lynch, Arthur "Homer" Alsip, Paul Alsip, Helen Alsip and Mamie Doris Carter Hupp.
He is survived by: his wife Carol; his children, Mark Alsip (Melissa) of Lexington, KY, Julie Alsip Bucknam (Randy) of Richmond, KY and Kelly Alsip Fischer (Jeff) of Lexington, KY.; his grandchildren, Sarah Jeck (AJ), Miranda White (Skyler), Samuel Bucknam, Lindy Fischer and Addyson Fischer; and his great grandchildren, Noah, Melody and Gwendolyn.
