He was predeceased by: his mother Wandella Smith Shackelford. He is survived by: his wife Doris Spangler Shackelford; his father Coleman Shackelford; his children, Sarah Shackelford of Corbin, KY and Dalton Shackelford of Lily, KY; and his siblings, Jim Shackelford (Debbie) of Lexington, KY, Sandy Girdler (David) of Winchester, KY, Sue Powell (Glen) of Mt. Washington, KY and Jo Mellette (Rich) of Montreal.
